Do you want to practice an integrating sport that also promotes associationism, discipline, and that recovers and promotes a typical Catalan activity? COME ROW WITH US!

WHICH ROWING MODALITIES DO WE PRACTICE?

We mainly row with the Llagut: This is a typical Mediterranean boat similar to the Cantabric sea “traineras”. Llagut was initially used for fishing and could be equipped with a Latin sail.

The size of a llagut i approximately 7,5 meters length and 2 meters sleeve. Its weight is about 300 Kg and is made of fiberglass and carbon fiber as well as aluminum. It has 8 oarsmen and a coxswain.

Also, since November 2017 we also row with a COASTAL ROWING boat. It is a 4x boat from EURODIFFUSION’S.

This kind of rowing comes from the Olimpic rowing, but boats are wider and mor estable so they can be used in open sea. This boat’s length is a bit more than 10 meters, and it weights around 150 kg. It has 4 oarsmen and 1 coxwain.

WHERE DO WE TRAIN?

The rowing section of Panteres Grogues use the Barcelona International Sailing Center (BISC), right under the big solar panel placed in “Parc del Fòrum”.
